Pup Anniversary Speech

... now no condemnation ...
I write differently than say I say otherwise, what I think, think differently should think and so on to the darkest depths.
Kafka
...
Good evening dear friends! Hopefully, as our good ancestors, my letter finds you in good health. Returning to Odessa, we immediately plunged into the life of a big city, ruthlessly quick, but I wonder where the faces and feelings clobber in the crowd, driven, As a rule, the animal instinct of self-satisfaction. Everything seems so precarious, that fear seize upon: "a sudden and now does not happen all of a sudden fail again ...? ". In general, the people next to us are reliable only within their own interests, just as we, or our actions represent a threat to those interests - to expect anything! If a person agrees to voluntarily forgo their own interests - this is called the victim and the victim seems most unpopular and foolish notion. How often brought us to deal with "friends" and colleagues who would be willing for the sake of their выгоды принести в жертву наши чувства, интересы, “дружбу”. Каждый из нас сталкивается с этим и наступает момент, когда мы начинаем задаваться вопросом “Разве all of these, perhaps the whole world is?? "I will answer the question: Do the world a perfect man? The answer is obvious. This means that each person has the potential to be a monster ability to sacrifice his friends, colleagues and relatives in order to achieve their material and (or) emotional satisfaction? Yes it is. Fundamentally in every human being laid, as we mentioned earlier, the animal instinct of self-satisfaction, in the broadest sense of the word. It is noteworthy that the farther a man of God, the more pronounced it is this instinct. If a person does not have a relationship with God - he is fully committed to the power of the destructive instinct slave to which a person becomes. On this side of human nature tells us the apostle Paul: "For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold out sin. Because I do not understand what to do: because they do not then do what I want, but what I hate, I do. If I do that I would not, I agree with the law, that it is good, but because I no longer do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. "Rom. 7:14-17. "There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit, because the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus freed from the law of sin and death. "Rom. 8:1-2. person begins to draw strength from God to fight this instinct, and the closer our relationship with God, the more our forces to deal with their sinful nature. With God, for us it is not a wild run counter to their interests for the sake of man, for God's sake. Let me liberty to assume that everyone has heard about the principle: Do not do to others what you do not want to do unto you. Not difficult to notice the passive mood of this statements. It is interesting that the first who expressed this idea in an active sense was Christ:
"And as ye would that men came to you and you would have them do. And if you love those who love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them. And if you do good to those who do good, what thank have ye? For even sinners do the same. "Onion. 6:31-33
I could hear people's opinion that if people do not act - then God is bad. This is fundamentally wrong assertion because human actions are determined by its proximity to God.
Perhaps, on this I will end my argument, but I hope that you will think about the motives of your actions: are they the result of your instinct of self-satisfaction, or God's will?
"And ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free." Jn. 8:32

Tamil Kavathai Invitation In Tamil

I'm motivated by God's voice in my heart

Read a letter from one of the students that we expect for this fall's imm class: Michal Gubernat.

I am very happy that I can come and learn at your school. I know that it is God's will for me because He assured me of it through prayer and other signs that were not possible to miss. Here some info about me personally:
1. My name is
Michal Gubernat , born July 7, 1986. 2. So basically it looks like this, I was born into a family where only my grandparents are Catholics and my parents I cannot say are believers. I have a sister, say about the family. This is pretty much what it looks like. The church that I go to is called Christ the King
and is a part of the organization of Every Nation
. The goal of this organization is to
start a church in every nation. As far as I know they also have a church in the Ukraine. Christ the King has started working in one of the most dangerous neighborhoods in Krakow reaching out to the youth and organizing different activities trying to bring the rebellious youth to the Lord. My church is also my friends that I spend time with. We all know each other well and organize meetings and prayer together. My working experience involved working at a gas station and McDonalds
. 3. Motivation…I'm motivated by God's voice in my heart. God says that the sheep will know the voice of their shepherd, and Jesus is my
shepherd. When I got saved God put a desire for missions work in my
heart and two regions that I was most drawn to where South America and the Ukraine. Some time ago I heard about your school in Odessa, but I thought that for sure I wouldn't be able to go, so I stopped thinking
about it. A few weeks ago at an IM camp, during prayer I heard God say clearly to me " Michal, the Ukraine is waiting for you
".
I thought that was great because I really wanted to go. After the camp I went to the square in Krakow where I met Martin. After a few minutes of conversation with him, he gave me your e-mail address. I've been praying and
asking God different questions, but He assured me not to worry about anything because it isHim leading.
4. As far as my plans for the future are, I don't know what I'm going
to do. I know one thing, that I want to follow God's will wherever,
He is the one who directs my life.

The IMM - a very special mission school

Hi Everyone!
It's
Ania Powezka
from
Poland(Szczecinek)
. I'd like to share with you a little bit about my experiences from an extremely intensive period of my life. The For the first 3 months we were doing theory though concentrating on the Bible. We had a few teachers, most of them came from America, plus Ben Oehler who was teaching on New Testament and also
Iwonka Pater
(Poland/Krakow) who was teaching the girls about "women in the church". One of the most moving lessons God gave me was through Ed Kleiman , his teaching and attitute. God shaked my Christian life; I felt that I started the relationship with Jesus right from the beginning.
With all that information and expierence I started the internship on the
Crimean Peninsula (Ukraine). I was ministring together with Oxana
, one of the mission school's students. We stayed in the Baptist church with 100 years history. It was hard to do anything within the church building so God showed us the need in the governmental orphanage. God also gave us His Word to lead us: Isaia 45:2. We were meeting there trying to teach the orphans some English - a wonderful tool to spread the Gospel. We could do this ministry for half a year. In July this year I was in 2 IM English camps - for families and youth. God taught me there that the best position in the Kingdom of God is to be a servant. After this I went to Wloclawek
(Poland) to help at an IM family camp there with the kids and translation. Now I'm at home, soon I will go to Wloclawek. I'd like to take care of the kids ministry, but of course whatever God's will might be I will happily do. Everything for Gods glory!

1000's of emails, phone calls, miles, prayers, and letters

International Messengers 2005 Home Office Reflections
Our ministry year is wrapping up and we are starting the evaluation children sent into Central and Eastern Europe to serve the ministries of IM’s 85 staff and 10 Ministry foundations . That required 1000's of emails, phone calls, miles, prayers, and letters. Sending and serving
sound like fairly mundane, inexpensive activities but the year has left a few stretch marks on us but has also left us encouraged by all that God has done. We are rejoicing now as we hear reports from our staff
across the eight countries of encouragement to their ministries and blessings of seeing some fruit from faithful labor. This is certainly an important part of what gets us out of bed in the morning - to serve and
enable and assist the Kingdom work of IM’s missionary staff and
ultimately the church everywhere that our good King opens the doors for them! We are fully grace-dependent and declare that with no
reservations. This is all way beyond our abilities and resources. To God
be all glory and praise and honor for 2005's ministry of International
Messengers. To our dear staff and co-workers- it’s been worthy of the
Kingdom so let's prayerfully and boldly do it again!

Размышления о молитве

(часть вторая)

flew past week and it's time a new message. I hope it was good and well for you. For me, the past week has been linked with a lot of memories because I spent it in his hometown, in the home. And that's the same way as now, now, as I sat behind the same desk and learned, sometimes without much enthusiasm, 'spiritual' and 'physical' side and the properties of our world, the proposed curriculum subjects. And while the new knowledge and discoveries of childhood, koimi lavished in childhood and adolescence filled with any teenager, I heard the word - prayer. Then, this concept seemed to me very vague and distant, but necessarily good.

time went on, I learned more about the world in which I live and the society to which I belong. The concept of prayer began to acquire more concrete shape in my mind. And today, I would like to share some thoughts about the many well-known prayer Paternoster . We can read it in EB. Luke 11:1-4: 1.Sluchilos that, when he was in one Place praying ceased, one of
his disciples said to him: Lord!
Teach us to pray, as John also taught
their students.
2. He told them: When you pray, say:
Our Father which art in heaven! Hallowed be thy name;
Your kingdom come, Thy will be done
AND на земле и на небе; 3. Хлеб наш насущный подавай нам на каждый день; 4. И прости нам грехи наши, ибо и мы прощаем всякому
должнику нашему; и не веди нас в искушение,
but deliver us from evil.

interesting thing is that students throughout the New Testament, Jesus was asked to teach them only one thing: 'Teach us to pray'. Why did Jesus taught them to this particular prayer? Let's think together!

Paternoster
. Who is on the right, one of us mortals call God - the father. The answer we found in the EB. John 1:12: 'And those who received him, who believed in his name, he gave power to become children of God. "

is in heaven
. In saying this we acknowledge that God - not magic wand, we can take, when you need it, and set aside, when our needs are satisfied. God is much more than mymozhem imagine, understand, much more than ourselves.

Hallowed be thy name
. How holy name of God in our lives? If we consider ourselves to be believers - it is useful to ask ourselves: how we are the saints of God in his life?

Your kingdom come . Are we, whether we want to come and the kingdom of God? Indeed, perhaps our 'kingdom', we've created the same for us, much us pleasant and convenient than God? The choice is ours!

Thy will be done on earth and in heaven . The question of will and purpose, we considered the first letter. But this question not a moment, and life - in every situation, we decide - someone will follow. However, it should be aware of the consequences of their decisions. God's will for us is perfect (And be not conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind that you know what the will of God, good and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12:2)

our daily bread give us every day . God, how good and loving Father, cares about us, and we, in turn, should realize that even food sent to us from God, much more so - life.

And forgive us our sins, for we also forgive every one indebted to us . Interesting idea - if we do not forgive those who have wronged us, whether God will forgive us our sins? And all of us oh, how need to be forgiven of our sins!

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil . Themselves, we could easily fall in love, his own weaknesses in mind, useless and harmful things. Harm from which we can comprehend the full extent much later, if at all can understand. Reasonable, in this case, turn to God for help. Who else but not the Creator, can understand and help their creation, ie me with you best?
Think about this in his spare time, so familiar to many, prayer. I believe that in many respects, this prayer helps us to see at ourselves and reflect on their relationship with God.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss your question - it is necessary пишите!

Birthday Wishes -62 Yr Old

Hello dear friends!
We are enjoying what seem to be the final days of summer.
Tomorrow, I (Beth) will resume my
intensive Russian course
at the Odessa Polytechnic University. I have been trying like crazy to finish

recopying/processing/practicing my notes from my last session of the school. There is so much information!!! I am really excited to get my nose back into my Russian books to find new ways of communication with the Russian speakers who surround me here! I am still not quite sure how much more study I will need to cover the basic grammar foundations of Russian. I know I am not there yet. Please pray that God will open my mind for understanding and then help me to transfer my knowledge of grammar into making daily effective communication a reality! from Odessa. They are meeting on Tuesday evenings for an intensive time of reading and discussing the life-applications from the book of John. One is a long-time friend who has very recently made a decision to live for Jesus. Another is a long-lost friend who made a decision for Jesus long ago and then has been chasing other priorities for many years. He has a strong renewed interest due to recent serious health problems. The third group participant just became a believer at our first youth camp this summer. Please pray with us for these fellows! It is great to see God really answering our prayers on their behalf already! It seems that there are also more new believers that would benefit from such an activity. So pray that God would open up these possibilities too! And give us His ideas! Alex will be speaking at the weekly church youth meeting
this Saturday. Pray that God would make that time effective!
He is also continuing his anthropology studies . Pray for enough time for studies and that God would bless and use these efforts to in His kingdom!

I am enclosing two photos. One is a view of my walk to university – a statue of Lenin. The other is a snapshot of the way home across the same square – an “onion domed” Orthodox building.
One more prayer item…please pray that God would make it possible for us to get reliable internet
in our home. We have been trying to get this already for MONTHS. Right now we are in a type of internet café…but the process of sending the update has already taken a huge amount of time due to internet disconnecting etc. We need a stable near-by connection to communicate with you all and with Alex’s university courses and much more. We send our love to each of you and many thanks for your every prayer!

God has started working in the lives of the parents and siblings When Anneke and I were in Africa this past May, somebody from Ukraine was trying to get hold of me on my cell phone, but I did not answer the phone as it would cost the person who was calling an arm and the leg. So upon our arrival back in Ukraine, I phoned back and found out that it was the
deacon of the Church in Ananev that called me while in Uganda
.
We talked for a little while about the camps and then he asked me why I did not answer my phone. I told him that Anneke and I were in Uganda and it would have cost him a lot if I had picked it up. He was very surprised and really excited. He asked me whether it would be possible for Anneke and I to come and share about our trip to Uganda at their church. I said of course but I could not really tell whether he meant it or not. I got the answer to this question very soon. Every time he called me he would ask me when we will come. So finally we agreed that Anneke and I would come after the camps. And so we did it, only partially. I had to leave the better half of me at home because she wasn't feeling well. So There were 7 kids from the camps and the deacon, Serezha , that came to listen to the Uganda presentation. Every body was shocked by the conditions that the people live in over there and I think I was able to convey the importance of discipleship to them and the church leadership. Kids had a chance to re-estimate the conditions that they live in. Serezha said that he would not agree to go and be a missionary in Uganda. We had a time of fellowship with the kids for about one and a half hours and then about two hours with Serezha. We talked about the past and upcoming camps.
He told me a lot about the impact of the camps which stays beyond the scene - families . Serezha told me that parents tell them that their kids came back home different and they are really happy about it. So, I believe, that God has started working in the lives of the parents and siblings through the kids who came to the camp. Praise be to God for that! We talked also about the upcoming camps next summer. The church in Ananev is really interested in the family camp. They already have 12 people who would like to go plus the pastor's family . I really hope that Serezha will be able to go as well. So, please keep Ananev in your prayers and the camps next summer as well. Be blessed, Arkadiy and Anneke Arkadiy and Anneke Naidenov are members of the IM team in Odessa, soulhouse@narod.ru

kingdom of heaven

starry night along the dark narrow streets of Rome were two people. Everything was dirty, and in the air froze the smell of slops. Yes ... These were the slums of Rome. Two men walked in silence, thinking about how not to stumble. One of them was me, and another - my mentor and counselor, Apelles. Anyway, I stumbled, and I blurted out: "O Lord!»

«By the way, speaking of the Lord" - said the sudden my friend - "He told us that not everyone who says to Him: "Lord! Lord "will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the will of His Father in heaven."

«So what do you want from me?" - I blew up - "I can not, I can not. I love her. If you cast it, it will think that care about me. " «Well, well, maybe I'll tell her that I am a Christian. Then why should I part with it? I'm love her. Jesus Christ commanded us to love our neighbor. "
«You love selfishly, thinking primarily about ourselves. And you should think about how it would be better for her. " «I can not understand what is wrong?»

«Your mind is distorted in this world. What is the norm for the world, - an abomination to the Lord. "

«abomination?" - Asked I smile, - "Is not it too strong a word to describe the two lovers?»

Pokemon In Poptropica

There was one thing on this crowd's mind and that was celebration.

Because quite a group from the Odessa Project travelled from Odessa to Kiev to be at the biggest Christian concert ever in the Ukraine - the concert with the famous group Delirious - we publish a report from Martin Smith, one of the members of Delirious. On a plane again after our very first visit to Kiev in Ukraine. On the surface the same old thing, an arena packed with people singing Delirious' songs, but there was nothing 'surface' about this occasion. It was like when you put seeds in a microwave and pop corn starts to explode or like throwing your whole box of fireworks on the fire and letting them all go off at once! This was a new day for Ukraine and we were honoured to watch the youth of a nation lift their voices not in anger but in praise of a great God who breathes life into 'dry bones', bones that were meant to decay but instead tonight became a 'vast army' with one heart and one song ready to live for the king of glory. This was the closest we ever came to missing a gig as British airways cancelled all their flights whilst we were on the way to the airport. After Ian Cattle our road manager stayed up all night (respect please) we found 7 seats on Ukraines own airline and arrived in with only 30 minutes to soundcheck before we played. With only half our crew we set the stage up ourselves and just made it by the skin of our teeth! I'm so glad we didn't miss one of the most exciting nights of our year, hearing 4000 Ukrainians singing Historymaker reminded me of being in the school hall in Littlehampton in 1995 and seeing the youth of England start to believe in themselves and more so believe in their God who is infintley greater than creation itself. There was an air of 'holy arrogance' that we weren't going to wait for change but we were going to sing loud enough for the world to hear of our magnificent saviour.
Tonight that same fire was here and it touched me more than any one would know. You don't get used to this 'fire' or immune to the faith of a 15 year old in the crowd whose face is like the very sun itself and you see Christ alive in an ordinary kid who knows they have found the real thing and will give their life away for the gospel. Ukraine, please can we come back, if only so that we can catch the fire you have and keep this band focused on eternal things. We need each other in this world and singing with you was a priviledge.

TURKMENISTAN: POLICE CLAIM "INDIVIDUALS CAN ONLY BELIEVE ALONE"

Anti-Terrorist police raided last Sunday's (14 August) worship service of
a registered Baptist church, Forum 18 News Service has learnt. After the service, Forum 18 was told, police questioned church members, confiscating all Turkmen-language Bibles and Hymnbooks. The police took particular for "more thorough interrogation," and told that the Baptist Church's national state registration is "not valid for northern Turkmenistan." This claim has been made elsewhere in the country, and Baptists strongly dispute it. Police pressured church leaders to sign a
declaration that the church will not meet until it had state registration. "We met for worship before 'your registration' existed, and will continue to meet now we have registration, even if you did not recognise
it. And we will continue to meet in future as our faith does not depend on
registration," church leaders told police.

Politely Ask People To Pay For Their Own Meal

It is so amazing to see His answers to some of the simplest prayers!

Hi there! I know it’s been a while since I’ve written anything, and
as a result there is a lot to catch you up on! So be patient as I do
my best to bring you up to speed on this past month! As you may The first camp was really great! As far as camps go it was not as exhausting! I helped lead a small group with some people from the American team, but didn’t have to teach an English class, so that
really freed me up to be able to do other things during that time, since I had other responsibilities as local staff.
There were a few specific people that the Lord really laid on my
heart to reach out to. A girl that I got to know really well last
year, Lera, brought a group of her friends this year to the camp, and
I was able to spend time with and get to know them! It was so cool
to see her again and then that opened the door to get to know her
friends very quickly! They were all the “super cool girls” and very
quickly got the nickname of the “Beauty Salon Girls”. They are
typical Odessa city girls, and they brought all their needed beauty
items to this camp, and since they all stayed in the same room, this
nickname for their group caught on very quickly. At first they
seemed uninterested in anything other than having fun and practicing
their English (which they were really good at). But it didn’t take
long for them to realize that they were learning some things that
they had no idea they would be so affected by. There were a couple
of the girls in particular that really started thinking and asking
questions about God. I had the really cool opportunity to talk to
one girl very in depth about God and explain the gospel to her. She
had many questions and was really considering everything throughout
the whole camp. By the end of the camp she said she couldn’t make
such a life changing decision as believing in Jesus at that time, she
said she needed to talk to her mom. She has a really good
relationship with her mom, but her mom is into a lot of stuff in the
area of Hinduism etc. But she also asked if she could come to church
even if she didn’t repent first! I quickly clarified for her that of
course she could come and that it would be great if she did! Since
the camps have ended, I have been able to see her a few times and she
is coming to our youth meetings and church! She is still very
interested and has permission from her mom to keep looking into this
“whole idea”. I am praising the Lord that her mom has given her this
freedom! It is not uncommon at all for parents to prevent their kids
from going to church or things connected with it. This was a huge
answer to prayer! Her name is Zhanna, so I will keep you updated
more about her later. This is only one example of God’s work in the
hearts of the young people at that camp.

As for the second camp, it was a totally different experience!!! At
this camp we had a group of 10 Romanians who came in addition to the
local Ukrainians! This was a whole new experience, but it turned out
really great! And there were also more guys than girls, which is a
first time for these camps here! I was super, super busy at this
camp! Normally there should be AT LEAST 8 Americans to run a camp
the size of this one, but there was only 1 who was going to be at
this camp! Two other Americans who were going to be at a different
camp were willing to come help us at this camp, so we ended up with
3! Jenn and I ended up having to fill the gap in teaching and
leading the small groups. We didn’t have enough people to have 2 lead
in every group, so I ended up leading the small group Bible study and
conversation time group alone, but then it turned out that we had a
very large beginner level English group so we worked it out to have a
larger group and Jenn and I taught that class together!

I was also leading worship with my guitar. I am so thankful though
that I didn’t have to lead alone! God provided another guy to play
the keyboard with me! That worked out great, but it was a huge
challenge at the same time! All the English worship songs had a
Ukrainian flare, which made it pretty difficult to play! Everyday we
would practice for the evening program! Between having to prepare
English lessons everyday, practice guitar, and take a nap sometimes
(I was super tired at this camp!) I didn’t have as much free time to
spend with the students. That was hard, especially because I wanted
to be able to not only build relationships for the sake of the camp,
but also build relationships that would carry on once I returned to
Odessa. But the Lord had plans that were very different from
anything I would have thought! The Lord somehow enabled Jenn and I
to get to know a group of young guys some of whom were in our small
groups. The Lord gave us such a huge burden for them! We prayed for
them and had different opportunities to talk with them. We could see
God working in their hearts in such a strong way, some more than
others, but all of them to a degree! My heart breaks for some of
them especially as I can see they have some very deep pain in their
lives! Since the camps have ended, some of them have come to church
or have expressed the desire to when they can! I’m going to ask here
that you pray earnestly for God to provide someone to minister here
to all these guys that are ripe for the harvest!!! It is SO
important that we ask the Lord of the harvest to send workers into
this specific field that is just waiting! Arkadiy, another
missionary here, ministers to the guys, but there are simply too many
for him to reach!

Back to the camp…. There were also a couple girls who had a room
right next to Jenn and I and we were able to get to know them. They
are really open to learn more about God, and we are planning to meet
with them on a regular basis as soon as we can work it all out! All
in all this camp ended up being really great, it was so cool to see
God at work in hearts!

Since I’ve been back there has been a lot going on! We have already
met with some of the youth from the camps a couple times, and there
is also a wedding in our church that has taken a bit of time to help
prepare for! I am excited to see my first wedding here in Ukraine!
Another surprise since I’ve been back is that I was asked/told that I
get to lead worship with my guitar since the regular leader is
getting married! So again I am stretched even more than I’ve been in
this area! This time I am really leading, not just playing along
with! And if leading worship in church and at our youth meetings
isn’t a big enough challenge, IT OF COURSE IS ALL IN RUSSIAN! It
might be somewhat easier if I knew the songs in English, but I have
found that that is not really even true! Even if I know the song in
English, it is still a little different! So I have to not only
relearn how to play songs that I knew in English, but I also am
learning to play songs that I don’t know in English and do my best to
catch on from the couple times I’ve heard them sung! I played this
last Sunday and am supposed to play next week also at the wedding!
Okay stretch, stretch stretch! I’m thankful that I can depend on the
Lord for this though because otherwise I couldn’t do it!

So that is as much of a nutshell I can give for now to describe all
that has happened in the last month! Right now it is SOOOOOO hot and
really humid! The air is so heavy! It is quite an experience to sit
in a Marshrutka (little bus) for a half hour when there is nearly no
air besides everyone breathing! It is pretty comical to feel myself
just start to stick together and drip sweat! The other night Jenn
and I finally had to go buy a little fan for our bedroom because we
couldn’t sleep well at night it was so hot, and we have to share a
bed which makes it even hotter! I really appreciate things like a
cheap little fan so much more now! “What’s air conditioning, just
move some of this air!” ? It’s great, I’m thankful that the Lord
has given me a content and cheerful attitude about such things that
normally wouldn’t be so pleasant.

I know I’m being a little random now, but before I say goodbye for
now I just have to say how much I’ve learned about prayer! It is so
essential! I KNOW people are praying for me, and it sure makes all
the difference! God has answered so many prayers! I can’t even begin
to name them all! I have come to rely more and more on prayer just
in order to go through a day! It is so amazing to see His answers to
some of the simplest prayers!

Pray, Pray, Pray:

1. Continue to pray that I will keep an eternal perspective in
everything and that I will see things and people through Jesus’ eyes.

2. Pray that the Lord would lead and guide me as I seek to continue
reaching out to those whom I’ve built relationships with from the
camps.

3. Pray for God’s continued saving work in Zhanna and the other
“Beauty Salon Girls”; the young guys from the second camp, especially
Kirill who was in my group.

4. Please pray for me as I continue to adjust to life here and that
God would enable me to pick up on the language quickly especially as
I start Russian lessons soon.

5. Pray that I will be able to improve in my ability to play the
guitar and that I can pick up on the Russian songs.

6. Pray that we as a team of local staff missionaries would be
unified in the love of the Lord.

Thank you all SOOOOOOOOOO much for all your prayers and support! I
know that you are praying, and it makes all the difference! I can
tell you God answers prayer for sure!

I would love to hear from you any time and hear what is going on in
your life these days!
I and appreciate you so much!
Lots of love,
Avery

IMM Schedule Fall 2005

Размышления о молитве.

Сейчас, я с супругой сидим в поезде и наслаждаемся горными пейзажами Карпат. Лесистые горы просыпаются после прохладной ночи and wrapped up the morning haze. All around is full of coolness and freshness of the mountain summer morning. Contemplating this, sneaking into a desire to stop time, so that it sank, and stay in this moment forever, enjoying the beauty of the landscape.
Wheels train steadily tapped past the rush village buried in greenery and the morning sun. Everything inside the crowded ineffable, but quite palpable, powerful as the tide of the ocean, a feeling of joy and peace.
So nice to be in the middle of it all God's creation! But how much more pleasant to be with Him Who created all this. Fair to the question: "Is it possible whether to be with God, and how? "I believe the answer is simple, but at the same time, very deep - in prayer!

be with God in prayer can! Vera George Mueller

Once, an American preacher named Dr. AT Pearson crossed the Atlantic and came specially in Bristol, England, to meet George Muller. He had heard about George Mueller, his faith, and wanted to meet with this person.
Mr. Mueller was a great host. He spent its for the five orphanages and told the story of each of them. At the end of the day he brought him home to feed. He decided it was too too late to let the guest and asked him to stay for the night. He said Dr. Pearson, that before going to bed he would like to pray with him, if he does not mind. Dr. Pearson thought: "I came just for this. I want to hear how this man to pray. When he talks to God probably around must be the thunder and lightning, should be an earthquake. "He was extremely surprised." Mr. Mueller has never raised his voice. He spoke quietly with God, as if talking. At the end of prayers He just reminded God that in orphanages 2,000 orphans who need their breakfast and the kitchen - Roll the ball. AT Pearson almost fell off his chair! you certainly be interested in continuation of this story. In this city, was the man who owned a large bakery. At two o'clock in the morning, he woke up, got dressed and went to the manager of his factory. He woke manager and said: "I want to deliver to the orphanage eating enough for breakfast." Manager was a bit annoyed and said: "You woke me up just to to say it? Are you sure that is all that you want to tell me? "The owner said:" No, I brought them food, enough for a week. "Then he added:" However, bring them enough food for a month, I also have to sleep in the end! "

George Muller prayed for every meal, every day, every month, every year. For 63 years they never miss a single meal - and they, the children never had to wait more than 30 minutes.

George Muller has been unwavering and, at the same time as a child's dependence on God's answer to his prayer of faith. He was an ordinary man who had learned to trust God, unusual, but what about you?
If a person believes God and wants to live with Him - He will not be ashamed: For the Scripture says: "whosoever believeth in him should not be ashamed" (Romans 10:11). But it is important to remember that, as we talked in my last letter: "Many people tried to use God for their fulfillment, but it is opposed to God's nature and is doomed to failure. You were created for God, not vice versa ".

Questions for reflection:

I pray to God? What is the cause, motive of my prayers?

Think about it and, if you have questions, be sure to write!

Broken Blood Vessel In Penis

I would like to see church growth
.

Today, as a waterfall of rain pounded the soil outside,
Light Christian Fellowship
in Odessa, blessed Maxim Pitomets as our new pastor! We caught up with the twenty-something leader after the service for a few questions! Q: Max, many of our blog readers have never met you, by way of introduction, please tell us about the main events in your life over the past year. Maxim: The most important event is that
Maryana
and I were married. Today is our one year anniversary! And we gave birth to our first child this year! Another main event was that I was able to attend and graduate from the International Missionary Mentoring program of International Messengers in Odessa. That was very important.
Q:
What do you hope to see in the future of Light Christian Fellowship ?
Maxim: I would like to see church growth. Of course this is not the most important. But it is important. If God is adding people to a church that says something. I want our church to be active in supporting new believers and also other young people who have been believers for some time and desire spiritual growth. How will I do this? Not alone, for sure. We have a team. Today I was announced pastor, but I do not see myself as above our church counsel. We are a team and make all decisions together. The goals I mentioned are my personal desires, but our counsel is with me in these goals. I also want our church to work closely with International Messengers, not that we do everything together, but that we have unity in our unique roles.

Q: I have heard that you have plans for future personal Biblical studies? Maxim:
Yes, if it is God's will, I would like to study at Kyiv Bible Seminary through their correspondence program for Christian Education and Church Planting. First I will need to pass some entrance exams. The program would last 4 or 5 years. I really hope to have this possibility as it is very important. Q:
What is your favorite part of fatherhood so far?

Maxim: So far our daughter is still very young. I am looking forward to the time when we can talk together. But I feel the responsibility of fatherhood very strongly, to protect and defend her. It is amazing to have your own child. Only other fathers can understand what that sensation is like. There are many other children, but having your own is entirely different and very special.
Q: How could others pray for you personally and for Light Christian Fellowship ?

Maxim: I would appreciate prayer for our marriage. Pray that my wife and I would be blessed with wisdom to find good compromises with each other. Pray that we would relate to each other with humility. And for the church, pray for unity between me and the other members. Often I don't understand the people in the church and they likely have the same difficulty with me. Pray that we would be able to partner together with the same thoughts and goals. This needed unity doesn't depend on me but on the Lord. We will have new believers, and they will need to be taught and set on the right path, so that they can do the same with others. However, the skeleton of the church needs to be whole for this process to be effective. These are sanctified people. Pray for unity in the same spirit."

Alex, great sermon! It is nice to have 2 sermons on a Sunday morning, it will help me prepare for the one later this morning at my church. I especially liked the example given in your summary about the postal worker, unfortunately or maybe I should say fortunately for me, I do not own an oil company! :)
